Post Up Stand is committed to make sure you’re getting the highest quality printed products every time you order. Submitting your graphics and artwork in the optimal form helps us ensure your custom printed banners and displays soar past your expectations.
Preferred file formats
When sending any artwork, make sure it is print ready and sent to full scale. Each product has its own print specifications based on “safe zones” for graphics and text within the margins of the material.
The minimum dots per inch (dpi) of an image or graphics should be 150 (the higher the dpi, the sharper the image) and in .jpg format. JPEG’s can be downloaded quickly as it compresses continuous tone images.
Other recommended file types
If you are utilizing our affordable graphic design services, logos, icons, illustrated pictures and artwork should be sent as vector files. Vector files are source files that can be edited and can be saved as file types of: .ai, .eps, .pdf and .svg. When you send an editable vector file graphic, there is no resolution loss in the image when compressed to save and send.
If you are sending an image like a photo, high resolution jpg and tiff files are preferred without being cropped or resized. This allows our graphics team to work with the original art and adjust as needed during the proofing process.
Post Up Stand’s graphic designers use the latest version of Adobe Photoshop™, allowing you to send PSD files as accepted artwork as well.
What not to send
Any images, artwork or graphics files created in or sent from Microsoft Word, Publisher, PowerPoint are not usable. Pictures from phones should also not be sent as artwork.
You should only upload any artwork for a printed display after you have purchased the display it will be printed on. Playing display roulette and printing randomly uploaded artwork on any random banner display isn’t as accurate or a good use of resources as you might think. Select and purchase the banner stand, trade show display or banner you want to have printed, then upload your artwork so we can make you happy, which in turn makes us happy!
Reminder about artwork proofs
We send digital proofs of artwork to customers before printing, so you have the opportunity to review the design and request any changes.
